Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ATP13A3 is a member of the P-type ATPase family, specifically involved in metal ion transport and cellular homeostasis. Research has highlighted its crucial role in various physiological processes, particularly in the brain, where it has been implicated in neurological functions and disorders. Mutations in ATP13A3 are linked to a range of neurodegenerative diseases, including neurodegeneration with brain iron accumulation (NBIA), signaling its importance in maintaining iron balance and neuronal health. The study of recombinant ATP13A3 protein is essential to elucidate its functional mechanisms, substrate specificity, and interaction with metal ions, providing insights into how its dysfunction contributes to disease. Recombinant protein studies enable the exploration of its structure-function relationship and facilitate the identification of potential therapeutic targets. Given the growing interest in ATP13A3's role in neurobiology, understanding its biochemical properties could pave the way for novel strategies in disease intervention and treatment.
