Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TSSK6 (testis-specific serine kinase 6) is a member of the testis-specific serine/threonine kinase family, which plays a crucial role in sperm maturation and male fertility. It is predominantly expressed in the testes, suggesting its significant involvement in spermatogenesis and spermiogenesis. Recent studies have implicated TSSK6 in various reproductive disorders, highlighting its potential as a biomarker for male infertility. Research indicates that TSSK6 is essential for the structural integrity and function of sperm, as it participates in the phosphorylation of specific substrates critical for sperm development. Moreover, disruptions in TSSK6 expression or function have been associated with abnormal sperm morphology and motility, further affecting fertility. Given the rising prevalence of male infertility in clinical settings, understanding the mechanisms by which TSSK6 operates is imperative for developing novel therapeutic strategies. The recombinant expression of TSSK6 protein in various cellular systems offers an opportunity to investigate its biochemical properties, elucidate its signaling pathways, and assess its interactions with other proteins involved in sperm maturation. By utilizing advanced techniques such as mass spectrometry and protein crystallography, researchers can gain insights into the functional domains of TSSK6, potentially paving the way for targeted interventions in male reproductive health. Overall, the study of TSSK6 presents a promising avenue in reproductive biology, with implications for both diagnostic and therapeutic advancements in treating male infertility.
