Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PAQR9, a member of the progestin and adipoQ receptor (PAQR) family, has gained attention due to its potential roles in various physiological processes, including metabolism and reproductive functions. This receptor is predominantly expressed in tissues such as the brain, adipose tissue, and gonads, suggesting its involvement in regulating energy homeostasis and reproductive health. Recent studies have indicated that PAQR9 may also play a role in modulating cellular signaling pathways related to insulin sensitivity and adipogenesis, thereby linking it to obesity and metabolic disorders. Moreover, its unique structural features and receptor specificity make PAQR9 a candidate for exploring new therapeutic targets in metabolic diseases and reproductive disorders. The recombinant expression of PAQR9 protein is imperative to elucidate its functional roles and interactions at a molecular level. This involves producing the receptor in a suitable expression system, purifying the recombinant protein, and subsequently characterizing its biochemical properties. Understanding PAQR9's structure-function relationship will not only enhance our knowledge of its biological significance but could also pave the way for novel interventions in diseases associated with metabolic dysregulation. As such, ongoing research in this area is crucial for uncovering the potential therapeutic applications of PAQR9.
