Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PAQR8 (Progestin and AdipoQ Receptor family member 8) is a member of the PAQR family of proteins, implicated in various physiological processes, including energy metabolism, reproductive functions, and cellular signaling pathways. Recent studies have suggested that PAQR8 might play a significant role in modulating cellular responses to hormones and nutrients, particularly in adipose tissue and the brain. Given its potential involvement in metabolic disorders like obesity and diabetes, researchers are increasingly interested in characterizing PAQR8's structure and function. The recombinant expression of PAQR8 protein allows for a detailed investigation of its biochemical properties, interactions with other cellular components, and its mechanisms of action. This foundational research is crucial for understanding how PAQR8 contributes to maintaining metabolic homeostasis and its potential as a therapeutic target in metabolic diseases. By creating and studying PAQR8 in a controlled environment, scientists aim to elucidate its role in physiological processes, paving the way for novel interventions in metabolic health and disease management.
