Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ARHGAP12, a member of the Rho GTPase-activating protein (RhoGAP) family, plays a significant role in regulating cellular processes such as cell migration, proliferation, and adhesion by modulating the activity of Rho family GTPases. It has garnered interest in recent years due to its potential implications in various physiological and pathological conditions, including cancer metastasis and cardiovascular diseases. Studies have indicated that ARHGAP12 may function as a tumor suppressor, as its expression is often downregulated in several cancer types, suggesting that restoring its activity could reverse malignant traits. Moreover, its involvement in neuronal development and migration has spurred research into its role in neurological disorders. Recombinant ARHGAP12 protein provides a valuable tool for investigating its biochemical properties and functional mechanisms. Understanding the structure-function relationship of ARHGAP12 may illuminate novel therapeutic targets and strategies for diseases associated with dysregulated Rho GTPase signaling pathways. Overall, the characterization of ARHGAP12 through recombinant protein studies is essential for advancing our knowledge of its biological roles and potential clinical applications.
