  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

STAB1, also known as Stabilin-1, is a multifunctional receptor primarily expressed in endothelial cells of lymphatic and blood vessels. Its pivotal role in regulating cellular functions, particularly in endocytosis and immune responses, has garnered significant interest in the field of biomedical research. Studies have shown that STAB1 is involved in the clearance of apoptotic cells and the uptake of various macromolecules, which is crucial for maintaining tissue homeostasis and immune tolerance. Dysregulation of STAB1 has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including chronic inflammation and cancer, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Furthermore, the generation of recombinant STAB1 proteins has facilitated the exploration of its structural and functional properties, allowing researchers to investigate the mechanisms underlying its interactions with ligands and downstream signaling pathways. This research not only advances our understanding of STAB1's biological significance but also opens new avenues for developing STAB1-based therapeutics aimed at modulating immune responses or enhancing tissue repair mechanisms. Ongoing studies are focused on elucidating the precise role of STAB1 in various disease contexts, as well as optimizing recombinant protein production and characterization methods to support clinical applications.
