Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SOX5 (SRY-related HMG-box gene 5) is a transcription factor that plays a critical role in various developmental processes, including neurogenesis and cartilage formation. Its importance is underscored by its involvement in the regulation of multiple downstream target genes that are essential for the proper development of the central nervous system and skeletal tissues. In recent years, studies have highlighted the significance of SOX5 in maintaining the balance between proliferation and differentiation of progenitor cells, particularly in neural and chondrocyte lineages. Disruptions in SOX5 expression or function have been linked to various developmental disorders and diseases, such as skeletal dysplasias and neurodevelopmental conditions. The investigation of recombinant SOX5 proteins has become a focal point for understanding its structural and functional properties, as well as its interaction with other transcription factors and regulatory molecules. By producing and studying recombinant SOX5, researchers aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying its regulatory functions and to explore its potential as a therapeutic target for conditions associated with SOX5 dysregulation. The ongoing research into SOX5 is crucial for advancing our understanding of developmental biology and offers promising avenues for clinical applications in regenerative medicine and genetic therapy.
