Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
STAG2, a member of the cohesin complex, plays a crucial role in chromosome cohesion, segregation, and DNA repair processes. Variants in the STAG2 gene have been associated with various cancers, particularly in hematological malignancies, highlighting its importance in tumorigenesis. Recent studies have shown that mutations in STAG2 can disrupt the function of the cohesin complex, leading to chromosomal instability and aberrations, which are hallmarks of cancer progression. Research has also indicated that STAG2 may have a broader role in influencing gene expression and cellular response to DNA damage, making it a potential target for therapeutic strategies. Recombinant STAG2 protein studies aim to elucidate the structural and functional mechanisms underlying its interactions within the cohesin complex and to assess its role in maintaining genomic integrity. Understanding STAG2's function at the molecular level could contribute significantly to the development of targeted cancer therapies and provide insights into the fundamental processes of chromosome biology.
