稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OR2A12, a member of the olfactory receptor (OR) family, has garnered interest due to its potential roles in sensory biology and its implications in olfactory signal transduction pathways. Olfactory receptors are G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) that mediate the detection of odorants, playing a crucial role in the sense of smell. Despite their importance, the specific functions and mechanisms of many olfactory receptors remain poorly understood. Recent advances in molecular biology and protein engineering have facilitated the production and characterization of recombinant OR2A12, allowing researchers to investigate its ligand-binding properties and functional significance. Studies have indicated that OR2A12 may be involved in detecting specific volatile compounds, which might have implications in areas such as food science, environmental monitoring, and even therapeutic applications. Furthermore, elucidating the structure and function of OR2A12 could provide insights into the evolutionary adaptations of olfactory receptors in different species. The ongoing research into OR2A12 not only enhances our understanding of the olfactory system but also opens avenues for biotechnological innovations, including the development of OR-based biosensors that could detect targeted odorants in various applications. By integrating interdisciplinary approaches, including biochemistry, pharmacology, and computational modeling, studies on OR2A12 aim to unravel the complexities of olfactory signaling and its relevance to human health and behavior.
