Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SPRY4 (Sprouty Homolog 4) is a member of the Sprouty protein family, which plays a crucial role in regulating cellular signaling pathways, particularly those associated with receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs). These pathways are vital for various cellular processes, including proliferation, differentiation, and migration, making SPRY4 an important player in developmental biology and cancer research. Initial studies have shown that SPRY4 acts as a negative regulator of the Ras/MAPK signaling pathway, thereby influencing cell growth and survival. Dysregulation of SPRY4 expression has been implicated in several types of cancer, highlighting its potential role as a tumor suppressor. Moreover, variations in SPRY4 expression may also contribute to developmental disorders and other pathological conditions. The recombinant production of SPRY4 protein allows for detailed investigations into its structure-function relationships and interactions with other signaling molecules. Understanding the precise mechanisms underlying SPRY4's action could yield valuable insights into therapeutic strategies for cancer and other diseases associated with aberrant signaling, making it a significant focus of contemporary biomedical research.
