Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SGK1 (serum/glucocorticoid-regulated kinase 1) is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including cell survival, proliferation, and metabolism. Its relevance is highlighted by its involvement in signaling pathways related to stress response and hormonal regulation, particularly in response to insulin and glucocorticoids. Dysregulation of SGK1 has been associated with several pathological conditions, including cancer, metabolic disorders, and cardiovascular diseases, making it a promising target for therapeutic intervention. Research on recombinant SGK1 protein has gained significance as it allows for a better understanding of the enzyme's structure-function relationship, catalytic mechanisms, and interaction with downstream substrates. Notably, the production of recombinant SGK1 in suitable expression systems enables the detailed study of its activity and regulation in vitro, facilitating the exploration of its potential as a drug target. Additionally, understanding SGK1's role in disease mechanisms can lead to novel strategies for treatment and provide insights into how manipulation of its activity may influence cellular outcomes. Consequently, the study of SGK1 recombinant protein continues to be a focal point in biomedical research, striving to unravel its complex biological functions and therapeutic potential.
