Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC26A6 is a member of the SLC26 family of solute carrier proteins, which play crucial roles in ion transport and the regulation of acid-base balance in various tissues. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of SLC26A6 in the renal and gastrointestinal systems, primarily focusing on its function in the transport of bicarbonate, chloride, and other anions. Mutations in the SLC26A6 gene have been associated with conditions like congenital chloride diarrhea and other electrolyte imbalances, underscoring its clinical relevance. The recombinant expression of SLC26A6 is essential for elucidating its functional mechanisms and interactions with other proteins. By producing this protein in vitro, researchers can conduct detailed characterizations of its transport activity, structural properties, and regulatory factors. This provides insights into its physiological roles and potential implications in pathologies related to electrolyte imbalance. Thus, studying the recombinant form of SLC26A6 paves the way for understanding its contributions to human health and disease, offering avenues for targeted therapeutic interventions.
