Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCYT1b, or phosphatidylcholine/ethanolamine phosphotransferase 1 beta, plays a crucial role in the biosynthesis of phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine, which are essential phospholipids in cellular membranes. The enzyme catalyzes the conversion of CDP-choline and CDP-ethanolamine into their respective phospholipid forms, thus contributing to membrane integrity and cellular signaling. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of PCYT1b in lipid metabolism and its potential implications in various diseases, including obesity, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders. The recombination and characterization of PCYT1b protein have become a focal point in molecular biology, offering insights into its structure-function relationship. Furthermore, understanding the regulatory mechanisms governing PCYT1b activity can provide valuable information for therapeutic strategies targeting lipid metabolism disorders. By exploring the kinetics and interactions of this enzyme, researchers aim to elucidate its role in health and disease, paving the way for novel interventions and enhancing our understanding of lipid biochemistry. The investigation of PCYT1b recombinant protein is not only significant for comprehending fundamental biological processes but also for developing potential biomarkers and drug targets related to lipid-related pathologies.
