Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DCLK3 (Doublecortin-Like Kinase 3) is a member of the doublecortin family, which is implicated in neuronal development and function. Recent studies have suggested that DCLK3 plays a crucial role in neurogenesis and synaptic plasticity, making it a potential target for understanding neurodevelopmental disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. Research has indicated that DCLK3 may be involved in the regulation of microtubule dynamics, critical for neuronal structure and trafficking of cellular components. Additionally, its expression patterns have been associated with various neurological conditions, suggesting that DCLK3 could serve as a biomarker or therapeutic target in these diseases. However, the precise molecular mechanisms underlying DCLK3's function and its potential role in brain pathology remain poorly understood. The recombinant expression of DCLK3 protein is essential for elucidating its functional properties and interactions at a molecular level, providing insights into its role in cellular signaling pathways and potential involvement in disease mechanisms. Understanding DCLK3's structure and function could facilitate the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity in diseases characterized by synaptic dysfunction and impaired neurodevelopment.
