Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NKX2-5, a member of the NK family of transcription factors, plays a crucial role in heart development and function. Mutations in the NKX2-5 gene have been linked to various congenital heart defects, making it a significant focus of research in cardiovascular biology. This protein is essential for the regulation of cardiac progenitor cell differentiation and the development of the heart's structural components. Studies have shown that NKX2-5 influences the expression of target genes involved in myocardial proliferation and chamber formation. Furthermore, it is implicated in the electrical conduction system of the heart, with deficiencies leading to arrhythmias. The production and study of NKX2-5 recombinant protein allow researchers to investigate its functional mechanisms, interactions with other proteins, and potential therapeutic applications. By understanding the protein's structure and its role in cardiac signaling pathways, scientists aim to develop targeted therapies for heart disease linked to NKX2-5 mutations. This research holds promise not only for advancing our knowledge of cardiac development but also for contributing to innovative treatment strategies for congenital heart conditions.
