稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NGLY1 (N-glycanase 1) is an essential enzyme that plays a critical role in the deglycosylation of misfolded glycoproteins within the endoplasmic reticulum, facilitating their subsequent degradation via the proteasomal pathway. Mutations in the NGLY1 gene lead to a rare genetic disorder known as NGLY1 deficiency, which is characterized by severe neurological impairment, movement disorders, and other systemic abnormalities due to the accumulation of improperly glycosylated proteins. Given the profound impact of NGLY1 dysfunction on cellular homeostasis, researchers are increasingly focused on developing recombinant NGLY1 proteins to better understand its biochemical function and therapeutic potential. The production and characterization of recombinant NGLY1 not only aid in elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying NGLY1 deficiency but also pave the way for potential gene therapy strategies. By using modern biotechnological approaches, including mammalian cell expression systems, scientists are striving to generate functional NGLY1 proteins that can provide insights into substrate specificity, catalytic activity, and the broader implications of N-glycan processing in cellular biology. Furthermore, studying these recombinant proteins may facilitate the identification of small molecules or compounds that can enhance NGLY1 activity, thereby offering a promising therapeutic avenue for patients suffering from NGLY1 deficiency. As research in this field progresses, the hope is to establish effective treatment modalities that can ameliorate the debilitating effects of this genetic disorder.
