稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RPS14, or ribosomal protein S14, is a critical component of the 40S subunit of eukaryotic ribosomes, playing a vital role in ribosome biogenesis and protein synthesis. Mutations or dysfunctions in RPS14 have been implicated in various diseases, particularly in hematological disorders such as Diamond-Blackfan anemia (DBA), which is characterized by a defect in red blood cell production. Researchers have increasingly focused on the recombinant expression of RPS14 to better understand its function, interactions, and implications in ribosomal assembly and cellular processes. The study of RPS14 as a recombinant protein allows scientists to investigate its structural characteristics, post-translational modifications, and role in ribosomal stability through in vitro assays. Additionally, recombinant RPS14 can be used to explore therapeutic avenues, particularly in DBA, by assessing the effects of restoring functional RPS14 in cell models. Overall, the investigation of RPS14 as a recombinant protein not only sheds light on fundamental aspects of ribosome biology but also opens potential pathways for targeted treatments in ribosomopathy-related diseases.
