  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CIB3 (Calcium and Integrin Binding Protein 3) is an important member of the CIB protein family, known for its role in cellular calcium signaling and integrin modulation. The study of CIB3 has gained attention due to its potential involvement in various physiological processes and diseases, including erythropoiesis, immune responses, and cancer progression. Recent research has demonstrated that CIB3 can bind to calcium ions and interact with integrins, playing a crucial role in cell adhesion and migration. Understanding the structure and function of recombinant CIB3 proteins offers valuable insights into their biological roles and therapeutic potential. The recombinant production of CIB3 allows for detailed investigations into its interactions with other cellular components, providing a platform to explore its mechanism of action. Furthermore, studying CIB3 may open avenues for developing innovative therapeutic strategies targeting diseases where calcium signaling and integrin functions are disrupted. Given the increasing evidence of CIB3's involvement in critical cellular processes, ongoing research aims to elucidate its signaling pathways and potential as a therapeutic target, thereby deepening our understanding of its role in health and disease.
