  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

NEK11, a member of the NIMA-related kinase family, plays a crucial role in cell division and the maintenance of genomic stability. Research into NEK11 has gained prominence due to its involvement in various cancer types and its potential as a therapeutic target. This kinase is essential for proper mitotic progression, and its dysregulation is often associated with tumorigenesis. In particular, NEK11 has been implicated in regulating the G2/M checkpoint and facilitating centrosome function, highlighting its importance in maintaining cellular integrity during the cell cycle. The study of NEK11 as a recombinant protein has enabled researchers to elucidate its biochemical properties, signaling pathways, and interactions with other cellular components. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of NEK11 can pave the way for the development of innovative cancer therapies, making it a focal point for ongoing investigations. The recombinant form of NEK11 allows for detailed functional assays and structural studies, which can contribute to drug design efforts aimed at inhibiting its activity in cancer cells, thus offering potential avenues for targeted treatment strategies in oncology.
