Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NDST4 (N-deacetylase/N-sulfotransferase 4) is an enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of heparan sulfate, a crucial glycosaminoglycan that plays significant roles in cell signaling, growth factor regulation, and extracellular matrix organization. The research into NDST4 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in various pathological conditions, including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and developmental disorders. Unlike its counterparts, NDST4 exhibits unique enzymatic properties and tissue-specific expression patterns, suggesting a specialized function in modifying heparan sulfate chains that influence cellular interactions and signaling pathways. The study of NDST4 and its recombinant protein forms is crucial for understanding the functional consequences of heparan sulfate biogenesis and sulfation patterns on cellular behavior. Furthermore, insights into NDST4's mechanisms may pave the way for therapeutic applications, as manipulating its activity could offer innovative strategies for disease management. The characterization of NDST4 recombinant proteins allows researchers to explore the structure-function relationships of this enzyme, elucidate its role in heparan sulfate remodeling, and potentially develop novel biomarkers or targets for intervention in diseases where heparan sulfate signaling is disrupted.
