Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NAT8, or Aspartate Aminotransferase 8, is an enzyme implicated in the metabolic pathways of amino acids, specifically the conversion of aspartate and alpha-ketoglutarate to oxaloacetate and glutamate. The study of NAT8, particularly its recombinant protein form, has garnered attention due to its potential role in various physiological and pathological processes, including neurodevelopment and liver function. Understanding NAT8's structure and function can provide insights into its biological significance and its implications in metabolic disorders. Research indicates that alterations in NAT8 activity may be linked to conditions such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and neurodegeneration. Recombinant NAT8 proteins are being utilized for both basic research and therapeutic exploration, as they enable the study of enzyme kinetics, substrate specificity, and the effects of mutations. This research not only contributes to a deeper understanding of NAT8's role in human health but also holds promise for the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting metabolic and neurological disorders associated with NAT8 dysfunction.
