Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MSX2 (Msh Homeobox 2) is a crucial transcription factor that plays a significant role in various biological processes, including development, differentiation, and cellular response to stress. It is known for its involvement in bone and tooth development, as well as in the regulation of neural crest cell migration. Abnormal expression of MSX2 has been linked to several disorders, including craniosynostosis and other congenital anomalies. Recent studies have investigated the recombinant form of MSX2 protein to better understand its functional domains and interaction with target genes, which can provide insights into its mechanism of action at the molecular level. The expression of recombinant MSX2 in various systems allows researchers to perform structural and biochemical characterization, facilitating the exploration of its role in developmental processes and disease states. Furthermore, the study of MSX2 has significant implications for regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, as understanding how this protein regulates cellular behavior could lead to innovations in therapeutic strategies for bone and dental regeneration. As research progresses, recombinant MSX2 serves as a vital tool in uncovering the complexities of gene regulation during development, making it a focal point in the field of developmental biology and medical research.
