Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDC16 is a crucial component of the anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), a multi-subunit E3 ubiquitin ligase that plays a vital role in regulating the cell cycle, particularly during the transition from metaphase to anaphase. Research on CDC16 has gained significant attention due to its implications in cancer biology and cellular aging. Abnormalities in the APC/C, including CDC16, can lead to improper chromosomal segregation and contribute to oncogenesis by allowing cells to bypass critical checkpoints. Furthermore, CDC16 has been linked to the regulation of various cellular processes, including the degradation of key cell cycle proteins. Recent studies have employed recombinant DNA technology to produce CDC16 protein, facilitating the investigation of its structural and functional characteristics in vitro. Understanding the mechanisms governing CDC16’s activity can provide insights into its role in tumorigenesis and potential therapeutic targets for cancer treatment. Overall, the study of CDC16 and its interactions within the APC/C complex is essential for elucidating the intricate regulatory networks of the cell cycle and advancing our knowledge of cell division-related disorders.
