Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MPP1, or the Membrane Protein, Palmitoylated 1, is a crucial component in cellular processes, particularly in the context of membrane dynamics and signaling pathways. It plays an integral role in the structural and functional integrity of various cellular membranes, impacting processes like protein trafficking, signal transduction, and interaction with other biomolecules. Research into MPP1 is motivated by its potential implications in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, where dysregulation of membrane proteins can lead to significant cellular dysfunction. Advances in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the study of MPP1 by allowing the production of structurally and functionally authentic MPP1 proteins. This enables researchers to delve deeper into its biological roles, elucidate its mechanisms of action, and explore its potential as a therapeutic target. Moreover, ongoing studies are focused on understanding the post-translational modifications of MPP1, such as palmitoylation, which are critical for its membrane association and activity. Understanding MPP1's functions and interactions may lead to novel insights into cellular behavior and the development of targeted therapies for associated diseases.
