Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of SSA2 (Suppressor of Soluble Antigen 2), a member of the heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) family, has garnered significant attention due to its critical role in cellular stress responses and protein folding. HSP70 proteins, including SSA2, are essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis, especially under stress conditions such as heat shock, oxidative stress, and exposure to toxins. SSA2 is predominantly expressed in the mitochondria and cytosol, where it functions as a molecular chaperone, facilitating the proper folding and stabilization of newly synthesized proteins and the refolding of misfolded proteins. Research has indicated that SSA2 is involved in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and the immune response, making it a potential therapeutic target in disease contexts such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Notably, the overexpression of SSA2 has been linked to tumor progression and resistance to chemotherapy, underscoring its importance in oncological research. Additionally, SSA2's role in mitochondrial function highlights its potential implications in metabolic diseases. The recombinant production of SSA2 provides valuable tools for biochemical and structural studies, aiding in the elucidation of its functional mechanisms and interactions with other cellular components. Overall, understanding the biology of SSA2 and its implications in health and disease can pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies and enhance our comprehension of stress response mechanisms at the molecular level.
