Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Peroxiredoxin 1 (PRDX1) is a crucial member of the peroxiredoxin family of enzymes, which play a significant role in maintaining cellular redox homeostasis and protecting cells from oxidative stress. Over the years, PRDX1 has attracted considerable interest due to its involvement in various physiological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. It is also implicated in several pathological conditions, such as cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and inflammation, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic target. Research into recombinant PRDX1 protein has been driven by the need to understand its structural and functional characteristics, as well as its interactions with other cellular components. By producing recombinant PRDX1, scientists can investigate its enzymatic activity and explore its role in biological pathways, which may unlock new avenues for drug development and therapeutic interventions. Furthermore, recombinant expressions allow for detailed studies of PRDX1’s mechanisms in oxidative stress responses and its potential as a biomarker for various diseases. Overall, the study of PRDX1 and its recombinant protein form is vital for elucidating its biological significance and therapeutic potential.
