Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPP1R2, or Protein Phosphatase 1 Regulatory Subunit 2, is known for its role in regulating protein phosphatase 1 (PP1) activity, which is crucial for various cellular processes, including cell division, muscle contraction, and glycogen metabolism. Aberrant regulation of PP1 has been implicated in several diseases, such as cancer and neurological disorders, making PPP1R2 a relevant target for therapeutic intervention. Research on recombinant PPP1R2 proteins has gained importance in understanding the molecular mechanisms governing PP1 regulation and its downstream effects. By studying the structure and function of PPP1R2, scientists aim to uncover how its interactions with PP1 and other cellular partners influence signal transduction pathways. Additionally, recombinant PPP1R2 proteins can serve as valuable tools in drug screening and development, offering insights into potential inhibitors or modulators that could restore normal PP1 activity in pathological conditions. The successful expression and purification of recombinant PPP1R2 are essential for biochemical assays and structural studies, which may ultimately lead to novel therapeutic strategies that target PP1-related diseases.
