Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LTBP4 (Latent TGF-β Binding Protein 4) is a crucial component of the latent transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) complex, playing a significant role in the regulation of TGF-β bioavailability and activity. TGF-β is a multifunctional cytokine involved in numerous biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling. Dysregulation of TGF-β signaling is implicated in various pathological conditions, such as fibrosis, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases. Research on LTBP4 has gained momentum due to its potential influence on tissue homeostasis and its role in modulating the TGF-β pathway. The recombinant expression of LTBP4 protein is essential for studying its structural properties and functional mechanisms. This research aims to elucidate the specific interactions between LTBP4 and TGF-β as well as its contributions to ECM composition and cellular responses. Understanding LTBP4's role could lead to novel therapeutic strategies for diseases characterized by aberrant TGF-β signaling. Advances in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of functional LTBP4, facilitating in vitro and in vivo studies. This research is poised to provide insights into the complex interplay between LTBP4 and TGF-β, ultimately enhancing our understanding of its biological significance and therapeutic potential in a range of pathological contexts.
