  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

MOBKL1A, or MOB kinase activator 1A, is a member of the MOB1 protein family, which plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as cell growth, division, and apoptosis by acting as a co-activator for the Hippo signaling pathway. The Hippo pathway is vital for regulating organ size and preventing tumorigenesis, making MOBKL1A a significant protein in cancer research. Dysregulation of this pathway has been linked to various cancers, highlighting the importance of understanding the molecular mechanisms involving MOBKL1A. Recent studies have shown that MOBKL1A interacts with several key proteins, including LATS kinases, thereby influencing the phosphorylation state of downstream effectors. The production of recombinant MOBKL1A protein has become essential for elucidating its structure-function relationship and for exploring its role in the Hippo pathway. By generating this recombinant protein, researchers can conduct detailed biochemical assays, structural analyses, and functional studies, which will advance our understanding of its regulatory mechanisms and potential implications in cancer therapy. The exploration of MOBKL1A's role at a molecular level is expected to contribute significantly to the development of targeted therapies and provide insights into novel treatment strategies for malignancies associated with dysregulated Hippo signaling. Through these studies, MOBKL1A emerges not only as a critical player in cell signaling but also as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target in oncology.
