稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RGS9 (Regulator of G Protein Signaling 9) is a critical protein that plays a pivotal role in the regulation of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), which are integral to various physiological processes including vision, neurotransmission, and the modulation of signal transduction pathways. Discovered as a part of the RGS protein family, RGS9 acts as a GTPase-activating protein (GAP), accelerating the hydrolysis of GTP bound to Gα subunits, thereby promoting the inactivation of G proteins. The importance of RGS9 extends beyond basic signaling; research has linked its dysregulation to several pathophysiological conditions, including addiction, mood disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases. Consequently, understanding the structure and function of RGS9 through recombinant protein studies is essential for elucidating its role in cellular signaling and its potential as a therapeutic target. Recombinant RGS9 can be produced to study its biochemical properties, interactions with GPCRs, and influence on downstream signaling pathways. Current research efforts focus on the mechanisms by which RGS9 modulates receptor activity and its implications in disease states, highlighting the need for detailed structural and functional characterization of this complex protein.
