Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MGAT4B, or Mannosylglycoprotein 4-beta-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase B, is an important enzyme involved in the glycosylation of proteins, specifically in the modification of N-glycans. This enzyme plays a critical role in the biosynthesis of complex glycans, influencing protein stability, folding, and cellular signaling. Researchers have increasingly focused on MGAT4B due to its implications in various biological processes and diseases, including cancer progression and metastasis. Elevated levels of MGAT4B have been associated with aggressive tumor phenotypes, suggesting that this enzyme could serve as a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and a target for therapeutic interventions. The recombinant expression of MGAT4B enables detailed study of its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and functional role in glycosylation. By producing MGAT4B in a controlled environment, researchers can dissect the molecular mechanisms underlying its influence on cellular behavior and investigate the therapeutic potential of modulating its activity. This research is key for developing new strategies in cancer treatment and enhancing our understanding of glycan-related disorders, marking MGAT4B as a promising candidate for future therapeutic applications.
