Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PIM2, a member of the Pim kinase family, plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell survival, proliferation, and differentiation. Its activity has been implicated in several types of cancers, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. The interest in PIM2 recombinant protein research has surged due to its involvement in oncogenic signaling pathways and its potential as a biomarker for cancer prognosis. Researchers have been exploring the structural and functional properties of PIM2, aiming to characterize its enzymatic activities and regulatory mechanisms. The production of recombinant PIM2 protein allows for detailed studies on its interaction with substrates and inhibitors, facilitating the identification of small molecules that can selectively inhibit its activity. Furthermore, understanding the role of PIM2 in cancer biology could lead to novel treatment strategies that disrupt its function, potentially improving patient outcomes. As cancer remains a leading cause of mortality worldwide, ongoing investigations into PIM2 and its pathways are essential for developing effective therapeutic agents and enhancing our understanding of tumorigenesis.
