Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MESDC2 (Mesoderm Development Candidate 2) is a protein that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and development, particularly in the context of the Wnt signaling pathway, which is essential for various biological processes including cell proliferation, differentiation, and tissue homeostasis. Research has shown that MESDC2 acts as an essential chaperone for Frizzled receptors, facilitating their proper folding and transport to the cell membrane. The dysregulation of MESDC2 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, where aberrant Wnt signaling can lead to uncontrolled cell growth and tumor progression. Therefore, understanding the structure and function of MESDC2 is critical for elucidating its role in these pathological conditions. Recent studies have focused on the recombinant expression of MESDC2 to investigate its functional properties, interaction with Frizzled receptors, and its potential as a therapeutic target. By generating and characterizing recombinant MESDC2 proteins, researchers aim to provide insights into the molecular mechanisms of Wnt signaling and explore the possibility of developing novel interventions for diseases associated with its dysregulation. This research not only enhances our understanding of developmental biology but also opens new avenues for targeted therapies in cancer and other related disorders.
