Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Placental growth factor (PLGF) is a member of the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family, primarily involved in angiogenesis and trophoblast differentiation during placental development. Its significance extends beyond pregnancy, as PLGF plays a crucial role in various pathological conditions, including cancer, ischemic diseases, and chronic inflammation. Research has demonstrated that PLGF can influence endothelial cell behavior, promoting blood vessel formation and modulating immune responses. Given its pivotal role in pathological angiogenesis, PLGF has emerged as a promising therapeutic target. Recombinant PLGF proteins are being developed for potential applications in regenerative medicine and as biomarkers for diseases associated with aberrant vascularization. Understanding the structure-function relationship of PLGF and its interactions with receptors such as Flt-1 can provide insights into designing effective PLGF-based interventions. As studies continue to explore the diverse roles of PLGF in both normal and diseased states, its potential to serve as a novel treatment modality and diagnostic marker is being actively investigated, highlighting the need for comprehensive research in this dynamic field.
