Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GtfC, a gene associated with the biosynthesis of exopolysaccharides in certain bacteria, has recently gained attention due to its potential applications in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Research on GtfC recombinant protein focuses on understanding its enzymatic activity and structural properties, which are crucial for its role in polysaccharide production. The ability of GtfC to synthesize glucans contributes significantly to biofilm formation, providing bacteria with ecological advantages in various environments. Given the rising interest in utilizing exopolysaccharides in drug delivery systems, food preservation, and personal care products, studies exploring the functional characteristics of GtfC recombinant protein have become increasingly important. By manipulating the expression of the GtfC gene in suitable host organisms, researchers aim to produce large quantities of this protein, allowing for comprehensive in vitro and in vivo studies. The potential to engineer GtfC for enhanced activity or specificity could lead to novel applications in various industries, making this a promising area of research in microbial biotechnology. Additionally, understanding the molecular mechanisms of GtfC function might provide insights into bacterial adaptability and environmental interactions, opening new avenues for the development of antimicrobial agents and strategies to control biofilm-related issues in clinical and industrial settings.
