Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PED6H is a recombinant protein derived from the Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDV), which significantly impacts the swine industry worldwide. PEDV infection leads to severe diarrhea and dehydration in pigs, particularly affecting neonatal piglets, which can result in high mortality rates. The need for effective vaccines and therapeutic strategies to combat PEDV has driven research into PED6H as a potential candidate. Its structural and functional properties make it a key target for understanding the virus's pathogenesis and immune response mechanisms. The study of PED6H provides insight into virus-host interactions and helps develop diagnostic tools and vaccines that could mitigate the economic losses associated with PEDV outbreaks. The exploration of recombinant proteins like PED6H not only contributes to virology but also enhances our knowledge of viral replication and immune evasion, which are critical for formulating effective control measures against PEDV and similar pathogens.
