Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of MCSP (Melanoma Cell Surface Protein), also known as gp75 or MART-1, has gained significant attention in the field of cancer immunology and targeted therapy, particularly concerning melanoma. MCSP is a transmembrane glycoprotein primarily expressed in melanoma cells and some other melanocyte-related tissues. Its unique expression pattern makes it a promising target for immunotherapeutic approaches, such as monoclonal antibody development and T-cell receptor-based therapies. Research has shown that MCSP plays a crucial role in tumor cell proliferation, survival, and metastatic behavior, thus contributing to melanoma's aggressive characteristics. The protein's capacity to elicit a robust immune response presents opportunities for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing anti-tumor immunity. Additionally, understanding the molecular mechanisms governing MCSP's function and its interaction with the immune system could pave the way for innovative treatment modalities. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology enable the production and modification of MCSP, allowing for comprehensive studies on its structure-function relationships and potential applications in diagnostic and therapeutic contexts. As the burden of melanoma continues to rise globally, ongoing research into MCSP holds promise for improving patient outcomes through more effective and targeted intervention strategies.
