Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Trim2 (Tripartite Motif-containing 2) is a member of the Trim family of proteins, which are characterized by their tripartite motif consisting of a RING domain, one or two B-boxes, and a coiled-coil domain. These proteins play crucial roles in various cellular processes, including protein degradation, immune response, and cell differentiation. Trim2, in particular, has garnered attention due to its involvement in neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, where it is implicated in the regulation of tau protein and synaptic functions. Recent studies suggest that Trim2 may influence the ubiquitin-proteasome system, thereby contributing to the maintenance of protein homeostasis in neurons. Additionally, as a potential modulator of inflammatory pathways, Trim2 may have therapeutic implications in neuroinflammation. Understanding the structure and function of Trim2 through recombinant protein studies could provide insights into its biological roles and mechanisms, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting neurodegeneration and related disorders. As researchers continue to unravel the complexities of Trim2, its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in neurodegenerative diseases remains an exciting avenue of investigation.
