Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MCM4 (Minichromosome Maintenance 4) is a vital component of the eukaryotic replisome, playing a critical role in DNA replication. As part of the MCM complex, which includes MCM2-7, MCM4 functions as a DNA helicase that unwinds the double helix to facilitate replication fork progression. Research into MCM4 and its associated proteins has garnered significant interest due to its implications in cell division, genome stability, and its potential links to various diseases, including cancer. Dysregulation of MCM proteins, particularly MCM4, can lead to uncontrolled cell proliferation and tumorigenesis, positioning it as a potential biomarker for malignancies. Additionally, MCM4 has been investigated for its roles beyond replication, such as in response to DNA damage and in the regulation of cellular stress responses. The study of recombinant MCM4 proteins enables researchers to delve deeper into its biochemical properties, interaction with other replication factors, and its influence on cellular processes. Understanding the structure and function of MCM4 not only enhances our knowledge of the fundamental mechanisms of DNA replication but also aids in the development of therapeutic strategies targeting aberrations in the DNA replication machinery. As such, MCM4 is a key focus in both basic and applied biomedical research, offering insights into cellular lifecycle control and the potential for innovative cancer treatments.
