  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

MCM10, a member of the minichromosome maintenance (MCM) family, plays a crucial role in the process of DNA replication and is essential for the maintenance of genome stability. As a helicase loader, MCM10 assists in the recruitment and stabilization of the MCM2-7 helicase complex at replication origins, facilitating its activation during the initiation of DNA synthesis. Dysregulation of MCM10 has been implicated in various cancers, highlighting its potential as a biomarker for tumor progression and a target for therapeutic interventions. The study of MCM10 and its interactions within the replicative machinery is vital for understanding the molecular mechanisms of DNA replication, the factors that contribute to genomic instability, and the development of cancer. Recent research efforts have focused on elucidating the structure-function relationships of MCM10, its regulatory mechanisms during the cell cycle, and its potential roles beyond replication, such as in DNA repair and damage responses. Emerging evidence suggests that MCM10's function may also be linked to other cellular processes, making it a significant focus of investigation in cancer biology and molecular genetics.
