Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PAX8 is a member of the paired box (PAX) gene family, which plays a crucial role in the development and differentiation of various tissues, particularly in the thyroid gland, kidneys, and reproductive systems. Research into PAX8 has garnered attention due to its significant involvement in the regulation of thyroid-specific genes and its implications in thyroid cancer pathogenesis. The gene is known to be essential for follicular cell development and function, and mutations or dysregulation of PAX8 have been linked to several thyroid disorders, including congenital hypothyroidism and thyroid neoplasias. Furthermore, PAX8 has emerged as a critical marker for identifying certain cancers, especially in distinguishing primary thyroid tumors from metastatic lesions. The recombinant PAX8 protein has been utilized in various biotechnological and therapeutic applications, providing insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying PAX8 function and its role in tumorigenesis. Understanding the structure, interactions, and regulatory pathways of PAX8 through recombinant protein studies can reveal potential therapeutic targets and improve diagnostic strategies for thyroid cancer and other related diseases. This research not only enhances our comprehension of developmental biology but also opens avenues for novel interventions in endocrine cancers.
