Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FLRT2 (Fibronectin Leucine-rich Repeat Transmembrane Protein 2) is a member of the FLRT family, which plays a pivotal role in cell adhesion, migration, and the development of the nervous system. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in various biological processes, including synapse formation and neuronal connectivity, making it a candidate for investigating neurodevelopmental disorders. FLRT2 interacts with signaling pathways such as the Wnt and FGF pathways, which are crucial in regulating neuronal differentiation and polarity. The protein's dynamic expression patterns during brain development underscore its functional importance, particularly in the formation of complex brain architectures. Furthermore, abnormal FLRT2 expression has been associated with conditions like autism and schizophrenia, suggesting that it may serve as a key factor in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying these disorders. As researchers continue to explore FLRT2's role in these processes, generating recombinant FLRT2 protein for structural and functional studies has become essential. This research aims to elucidate FLRT2's mechanisms of action at the molecular level, contributing to our understanding of its involvement in neural development and its potential implications in neuropsychiatric conditions. The insights gained from FLRT2 research could pave the way for novel therapeutic approaches targeting FLRT2-related pathways, offering hope for interventions in neurodevelopmental disorders.
