Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Rtn3, or Reticulon 3, is a member of the reticulon protein family known for its role in shaping the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and influencing various cellular processes. Research into Rtn3 has gained momentum due to its implications in neuronal function and development, particularly in the context of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Studies indicate that Rtn3 is involved in ER morphology, which affects the synthesis and maturation of proteins essential for neuronal health. Additionally, recent investigations have highlighted Rtn3's potential as a regulator of apoptosis and autophagy, linking it to cellular stress responses. The recombinant expression of Rtn3 presents opportunities to dissect its functional roles further in vitro and in vivo, paving the way for understanding its molecular mechanisms and potential therapeutic applications. As scientists delve into the intricacies of Rtn3's structure and function, they aim to uncover biomarkers for neurodegeneration and develop strategies that might mitigate ER stress, reinforcing the significance of Rtn3 in cellular homeostasis and neuroprotection.
