Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
VP30 is a crucial protein associated with the Ebola virus, belonging to the family of filoviruses, which are known for their high pathogenicity and fatality rates in humans. The research surrounding VP30 is primarily driven by its role as a transcription factor that is essential for viral RNA synthesis and replication. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of VP30 is vital for developing effective antiviral strategies, as it facilitates viral gene expression and plays a key role in viral assembly. Moreover, VP30 is involved in interacting with other viral proteins and cellular factors, suggesting it may be a potential target for therapeutic interventions. Given the lack of effective treatments for Ebola, studying VP30 not only enhances our understanding of filovirus biology but also aids in the design of novel vaccines and antiviral drugs. The urgent need to address outbreaks of Ebola virus disease further underscores the significance of VP30 research in the context of global health and biodefense. As such, elucidating the structural and functional properties of VP30 is a priority in the field of virology, contributing to the broader effort to mitigate the impact of Ebola and similar viral pathogens.
