Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FPB (Farnesylated Protein of B-type) recombinant proteins have garnered significant attention in the field of molecular biology due to their unique structural and functional properties. As post-translational modifications play crucial roles in determining protein function, the farnesylation process, which involves the addition of a farnesyl group to proteins, has been identified as a key mechanism that influences cellular processes such as signal transduction, membrane localization, and protein stability. Studies have shown that aberrant farnesylation is associated with various diseases, including certain cancers and genetic disorders. Consequently, the development of FPB recombinant proteins has become a focal point in research aimed at understanding the underlying mechanisms of farnesylation and its implications in health and disease. These proteins can serve as valuable tools for investigating protein interactions, elucidating pathways involved in cell signaling, and exploring potential therapeutic targets for diseases linked to farnesylation. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have facilitated the production of FPB proteins, allowing for detailed characterization through biochemical assays and structural analyses. Furthermore, the exploration of FPB as a potential drug delivery system or therapeutic agent underscores the versatility of these proteins in biomedical research. Overall, the study of FPB recombinant proteins holds promise for unearthing new biological insights and developing innovative strategies for disease treatment, making it a vital area of ongoing investigation in the life sciences.
