Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NTS (Neurotensin) is a neuropeptide that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including the regulation of dopaminergic transmission, appetite control, and pain modulation. Research into NTS and its recombinant proteins has gained momentum due to its potential therapeutic applications in treating disorders such as schizophrenia, obesity, and pain syndromes. The ability to produce recombinant NTS proteins allows for in-depth studies of its structure-function relationships, receptor interactions, and biological effects. Furthermore, recombinant NTS can facilitate the development of novel drug delivery systems and targeted therapies. Understanding the mechanisms of action of neurotensin and its analogs enables researchers to explore NTS's role in neurological and metabolic pathways, paving the way for innovative treatments. The recombinant technology used to produce NTS enhances its availability for research and clinical applications, ultimately contributing to advancements in neuropharmacology and translational medicine. As a result, the study of NTS and its recombinant forms is vital for unlocking new therapeutic strategies and understanding complex biological systems.
