Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Ociad1, or Ovarian Cancer Immunotherapy Antigen Domain 1, is a protein implicated in various biological processes, especially in the context of cancer immunology. Research into Ociad1 has gained momentum due to its potential role as a tumor-associated antigen, which could be targeted in the development of cancer immunotherapies. The protein is thought to be involved in pathways regulating immune responses, particularly in ovarian cancer, where evasion of the immune system is a significant hurdle. Consequently, understanding the structure, function, and interactions of Ociad1 can provide essential insights into molecular mechanisms underlying tumor progression and immune escape. Investigating the recombinant form of Ociad1 facilitates the exploration of its functional properties, epitope mapping for vaccine development, and the generation of monoclonal antibodies for targeted therapies. This area of research offers promising avenues for enhancing the efficacy of cancer treatments, particularly in tailoring immunotherapeutic strategies for ovarian cancer patients, thus making Ociad1 a focal point of ongoing studies in translational medicine and cancer immunotherapy.
