Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LIMK1 (LIM domain kinase 1) is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a critical role in the regulation of actin cytoskeleton dynamics, influencing cellular processes such as migration, proliferation, and differentiation. It is particularly significant in neural development and has been implicated in various physiological and pathological conditions, including cancer metastasis and neurodegenerative diseases. The phosphorylation of cofilin, an actin-binding protein regulated by LIMK1, is vital for actin remodeling, thereby affecting cell motility and morphology. Recent studies have highlighted the role of LIMK1 in modulating cancer cell invasion and metastasis through its effects on actin dynamics. The development of LIMK1 recombinant proteins has facilitated the investigation of its biochemical properties, regulatory interactions, and potential as a therapeutic target. Research into LIMK1 not only enhances our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying cell behavior but also opens avenues for the design of novel interventions in diseases where LIMK1 dysregulation is a contributing factor. Consequently, LIMK1 has emerged as a significant focus in cell biology and cancer research, with ongoing efforts aimed at elucidating its precise functions and exploring its potential in clinical applications.
