Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MYL4, a member of the myosin light chain family, plays a crucial role in the regulation of cardiac muscle contraction and is primarily expressed in the heart. Recent research has revealed its significant involvement in various cardiac conditions, including hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and heart failure. Understanding the molecular mechanisms by which MYL4 influences cardiac physiology is essential for developing targeted therapies for these diseases. The study of recombinant MYL4 proteins offers a valuable tool for elucidating its functional properties and interactions with other proteins involved in cardiac contraction. By producing MYL4 in a recombinant system, researchers can explore its role in muscle dynamics, investigate the effects of specific mutations associated with cardiac disorders, and assess potential therapeutic strategies. This research not only enhances our knowledge of cardiac biology but also paves the way for innovative approaches in treating myopathies linked to MYL4 dysregulation. Thus, the investigation of recombinant MYL4 proteins is a vital endeavor in the realm of cardiovascular research, contributing to a broader understanding of cardiac function and disease mechanisms.
