Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LHX2 (LIM homeobox 2) is a transcription factor that plays a crucial role in various developmental processes, particularly in the development of the central nervous system and the regulation of pituitary hormone expression. It is known to influence cell fate determination and differentiation, especially in neural progenitor cells. Recent studies have highlighted its importance in the pathology of neurological disorders, including schizophrenia, as well as its potential role in regulating gene expression in other tissues. Given the diverse functions of LHX2, the production of recombinant LHX2 protein has become essential for elucidating its biological mechanisms and interactions within cellular contexts. Researchers aim to investigate LHX2’s involvement in signaling pathways and its interactions with other proteins, which could provide insights into its functional roles in both normal physiology and disease states. Utilizing advanced molecular cloning techniques and expression systems, the recombinant LHX2 protein can be produced in sufficient quantities for in vitro studies, including binding assays and functional analyses. Understanding the precise roles of LHX2 may lead to novel therapeutic approaches in treating conditions associated with its dysregulation, underscoring the significance of LHX2 recombinant protein in biomedical research.
